OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — A 44-year-old man who allegedly tried to kidnap a 10-year-old girl Sunday afternoon in a Walmart parking lot was arrested during a traffic stop Thursday evening, the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office said.
Luis Davila-Quinones is accused of trying to lure the girl into his car outside the Walmart store at Cypress Parkway and Old Pleasant Hill Road in the Poinciana neighborhood, Osceola County Lt. Ryan Berry said.

Surveillance footage showed the 20-second encounter in which a man can be seen opening his driver's side door. Deputies said he repeatedly told the girl in English and Spanish to get into the car. She said no and ran toward the Walmart entrance.
Niobi Jaquez, the girl's grandmother, said she had sent her to retrieve a credit card from her car.
"She saw me and said, 'Oh, Nana, he tried to take me. I just want to get out of here, Nana. Let's go out of here,'" Jaquez told Channel 9. "I said, 'OK,' then said, 'No, he might be around. We got to report this.'"

Jaquez was startled by how accurate her granddaughter's description of the man was in a sketch released by investigators.
"I was like, 'Oh my God, it's the same person. It is the same person, give or take a little more in the face, but that was him,'" she said.
"Through the incredible courage of the victim, the cooperation of the business community in Poinciana and investigative efforts, detectives were able to positively identify and develop probable cause to arrest Luis Davila-Quinones," Berry said.
Hear from the girl's grandmother below:
Davila-Quinones was booked into the Osceola County Jail on an attempted kidnapping charge.
"I thank God, I thank the Osceola County Sheriff's Department, because at least some parents can rest that he's not out there and that he's not going to be hurting any other children," Jaquez said.
