ORLANDO, Fla. — Wednesday started off mostly dry, but storms are rolling through Central Florida this afternoon.
The FAA said the storms caused a ground stop at Orlando International Airport through 4 p.m.

There’s a 50% chance of rain. Meteorologist Tom Terry said the storms are expected to stick around through sunset.
Daytime highs will reach the low 90s, with temperatures reaching 91 in Orlando.

Terry said he is still tracking tropical moisture in the Gulf of Mexico. The system is moving north toward the central Gulf coast sending heavy rain ahead of it, which may send more rain toward Central Florida in the extended forecast.
