LIVE RADAR: Latest timeline shows when Thursday storms could hit Central Florida

ORLANDO, Fla. — UPDATE: We have a timeline of when Thursday’s severe weather could hit.

Channel 9 Certified Chief Meteorologist Tom Terry said FutureTrack shows a round of rain and storms before noon, then more storms through the afternoon and early evening.

Strong gusty winds and a few tornadoes are possible in these storms.

In addition, a tornado watch has been issued until 2 a.m. for the far western Florida panhandle until 2 a.m.

Terry said Central Florida’s weather will deteriorate after daybreak and especially during Thursday afternoon.

Update: Meteorologists are tracking a major fall front that will move into Central Florida on Thursday.

There is a severe risk for storms.

Meteorologist Brian Shields said there is a risk for an isolated tornado and wind damage.

Central Floridians can expect one to three inches of rain. There will also be a lot of lightning.

Once the front passes, temperatures will cool down to the 70s.

Lows will be in the 40s, 50s and 60s.

A major front is on its way to Central Florida.

The front is bringing rain and storms will it. Some of the storms could be severe.

Meteorologist Brian Shields said damaging winds and isolated tornadoes are possible as the front moves in.

It will also be much cooler. Daytime highs will be in the 70s this weekend.

For Wednesday’s forecast, the day will start off cool, with partly cloudy conditions expected throughout the day.

Daytime highs will reach the mid 80s.
