ORLANDO, Fla. — LIVE RADAR: Track thunderstorms live here
4:10 p.m. update:
Storms have moved east and affected coastal counties, also producing damaging wind gusts and small hail. Expect conditions to remain relatively quiet across Central Florida for the rest of the afternoon. Scattered rain showers are still possible, but the risk for storms has greatly diminished.
Temperatures will remain warm overnight, dropping to the mid-to-upper-70s. Skies will remain partly cloudy.
On Tuesday afternoon, storms will also move from west to east. Similarly to Monday’s setup expect some storms to turn strong to severe.
3 p.m. update:
The line of storms produced severe conditions over Orange County. The severe thunderstorm warning expired around 2:45 p.m. but it left several homes without power, knocking down tree limbs.
Afternoon update:
A line of storms is approaching the Metro Orlando area from the west. Expect the storms to arrive by 2 p.m. and continue moving to the east. The storms come loaded with lots of lightning and strong wind gusts.
The storm will arrive to the east Central Florida coast by 5 p.m., some could still be strong.

Morning update:
It’s another hot day in Central Florida Monday, with scattered widespread storms expected to arrive in most of the area this afternoon.
Here’s what to expect:
- There is a 60% chance of afternoon storms.
- The high will reach 93 degrees in most areas.
- Storms will clear early this evening.
- Lows tonight will be in the 70s.

In the tropics, two tropical waves could develop in the Atlantic. There are no named storms in the Atlantic at this time.
