Through 6 p.m., strong storms will be scattered about and building into the Orlando metro neighborhoods, with more storms this evening, especially west.
While some storms will linger well into the evening, our hope is that most associated cloud cover can clear by Sunday night’s total lunar eclipse.
For the remainder of the afternoon, strong storms will build inland across Central Florida. Small hail, torrential rain, strong wind gusts will be the main threats, however, just before 2pm today, a tornado was reported in the Jacksonville area. pic.twitter.com/Vwj0CK99Hu
