ORLANDO, Fla. — Central Florida will see an increased chance for afternoon rain and storms on Friday.

There will be a 50% chance of scattered afternoon rain and storms in our area.
Early morning showers caused flood advisories in parts of Orange and Seminole counties.

The reason for the unsettled weather is an old front that is parked over Central Florida.
Friday will also be a little warmer than Thursday, with a high temperature in Orlando around 85 degrees.
There will be an isolated chance for showers and storms in the evening with lows in the 60s.
This weekend will be dry with a passing shower Saturday.
High temperatures will be in the mid-80s throughout the weekend.

One tropical disturbance in the Caribbean will be watched this weekend for the possibility of slow development.
Thankfully, there are no tropical threats to Florida at this time.
