There will be a 20% chance of afternoon rain and storms in our area.

Conditions should remain drier for the next few days.
Before any potential storms fire up, the average high temperature should reach around 91 degrees.

Dangerous rip currents on the coast will be an issue into early next week.
Channel 9 meteorologists are continuing to monitor a tropical disturbance in the eastern Caribbean.
The storm system should develop this weekend and move into the Gulf next week.
It’s hard to tell where the storm will make landfall but it can possibly impact the Gulf states, including Florida.
Hurricane Fiona is moving toward Bermuda and will eventually strike Canada, possibly as a Category 2 storm.
