First day of summer forecast: High temperatures, low chance of rain

ORLANDO, Fla. — Saturday marks the first day of summer and in Central Florida we are feeling the heat.

“We are going to see temperatures in the low 90s, all the way to 92 degrees,” meteorologist Kassandra Crimi said. “Heat index value closer to 100 later this afternoon, with partly cloudy skies.”

There is a 30% chance of showers in Central Florida.

Brevard and Osceola counties may see some showers throughout the afternoon, Crimi said.

For Sunday, temperatures will stay in the low 90s, with a 30% chance of showers.
