ORLANDO, Fla. — 5:00 p.m. Update:
Fred is still a disorganized system, but is forecast to reorganize Sunday and become a tropical storm as it approaches the North Gulf Coast on Monday.
Fred stays well west of us, with the highest chance for rain occurring on Sunday. Isolated tornadoes are possible to the west of Orlando as well.
Grace is approaching the Caribbean Islands and is also disorganized.
Tee latest forecast track has shifted further south, but there is uncertainty as to where Grace will track and how organized it will become.
We are watching where Grace is on Thursday, and whether it can stay to the south or bring impacts to us.
11:00 a.m. Update:
Fred has been downgraded from a tropical depression to a remnant low as it struggles over Cuba. Fred could restrengthen Saturday evening as it makes its way through the Gulf.

Fred remains a disorganized tropical depression over Cuba.

As it emerges into the Gulf of Mexico, we expect to see it become a bit more organized and return to tropical storm strength.
Fred will keep the chance for fast-moving downpours in our forecast on Sunday, as well as the threat of severe weather.
