These hotel rates are about $50 cheaper than usual. They are only applicable to Florida residents with proof of residency.

The company said that guests will not be subject to pet or resort fees and will have free access to Wi-Fi during this offer.

“Isn’t it nice to be able to demonstrate to people we care?” hotelier Harris Rosen said. “Isn’t it nice that we want them to be comfortable and not have to suffer? We’ve always been that way.”

Channel 9 has reached out to other hotel chains like the Marriot, Hyatt and resorts at Disney and Universal to see if they’re also offering special rates due to the hurricane. We have not heard back yet.
