ORLANDO, Fla. — A major cold front is about to bring freezing temperatures to Central Florida.

Friday will start off mild, with high temperatures reaching the mid to upper 60s.
The Artic front will increase clouds and bring a few showers, but more importantly, we’ll get a rush of cold air moving in this afternoon.

Temperatures will start going down around 10 a.m. and will be freezing for many on Friday evening.
Overnight, we’ll have lows in the 20s and 30s.
Wind chill will reach the teens and 20s.
Freeze warnings and hard freeze warnings are in place for our area.

Central Florida will wake to freezing temperatures Saturday, with sunny and cold conditions expected through the afternoon.
The same thing will happen on Christmas morning.
