1:15 p.m. update:
Sampled wind estimates were over 40 to 50 mph approaching the south Side of Orlando.
This warning threats include possibility for surge of 60 to 70 mph winds.
Radar sampling also detected 50 to 60 mph winds as storms roll over East Lake Toho.
12:40 p.m. update:
Damaging wind thrust are moving thru Osceola and Polk counties.
There is also 70 mph damaging wind threat with storms approaching Orlando.
A new severe thunderstorm warning is in effect for the area through 1:15 p.m.
12:25 p.m. update:
Residents in Winter Park are seeing hail rolling off of their roofs as the storm impacts north Orange County.
Other parts of Central Florida have seen wind gusts over 60 mph coming in from Gulf of Mexico.
More storms are approaching from the west and we’re watching the south side of Orlando, Polk and Osceola counties for severe storms and hail threat for the next couple hours.

Sunday started off with showers and storms in the morning hours. As we head through the day, our rain and storm coverage will expand.
The highest chance of rain and storms will be between 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
