ORLANDO, Fla. — Two people were injured Monday morning in a fiery crash involving an SUV and a tractor-trailer, the Orlando Police Department said.
The crash was reported shortly after 6:15 a.m. at Millenia Boulevard and West Oak Ridge Road, Orlando police Lt. Miguel Garcia said.
"Officers arrived and located an SUV underneath a semi-trailer," Garcia said. "One of the occupants of the SUV was trapped in the vehicle and the vehicle was on fire."

An officer used several fire extinguishers to try to prevent a victim from burning, Garcia said.
"The occupants of the SUV were transported to the hospital," Garcia said. "One of the occupants has life-threatening injuries while the other has minor injuries."
The driver of the tractor-trailer was uninjured.

West Oak Ridge Road will remain closed from Millenia Boulevard to Harcourt Avenue for several hours.
The crash remains under investigation.
No other details were given.
