Weather has always been a passion. I first started giving the forecast with a chalkboard when I was 5. Now, you can catch me each weekday on Eyewitness News Daybreak and again at noon.
I graduated from Villanova University with a degree in Geography. I teamed up with my professor and published two studies on hurricanes and their impact on increased precipitation in the Eastern United States. I went on to obtain a degree in Broadcast Meteorology from Mississippi State University. I also hold a certificate in Emergency Management from Florida State University.
My career started at the ABC affiliate in Salisbury, Maryland. Next, I was able to enjoy the mountains at the ABC affiliate in Charleston, West Virginia. I am a Certified Broadcast Meteorologist (CBM Seal Holder) through the American Meteorological Society and also have my National Weather Association Seal of Approval for weathercasting.
I’m a former board member at the Orlando Science Center and continue to partner with them on special projects.
I’m a big fan of the New York Yankees. And when the college basketball season rolls around, I am glued to the TV to see my Villanova Wildcats!
My wife, our three sons (the future frontcourt of the Orlando Magic), and I live in Orlando. We spend our free time eating too much pizza. If you have any suggestions where to find the best pizza, let me know!
