ORLANDO, Fla. -- UCF and head coach Gus Malzahn have signed one of the top-ranked recruiting classes in program history.
The Knights are set to join the Big 12 next season and they signed 14 talented players on Wednesday. Ten of those signees are from the state of Florida, including five from Central Florida and the Orlando area.
UCF has signed four-star defensive tackle John Walker from Osceola. He is the highest-ranked recruit in program history. The Knights also signed defensive end Kaven Call from Apopka, wide receiver Tyree Patterson from Eustis, kicker Grant Reddick from Boone and cornerback Braeden Marshall from Lake Mary.
OL Johnathan Cline, OL Keyon Cox, DB Jason Duclona, LB Troy Ford Jr, DB Ja’Maric Morris, DL Isaiah Nixon, TE Randy Pittman, QB Dylan Rizk and DT Andrew Rumph are the other signees in UCF’s 2023 class.
