Tagovailoa led the Crimson Tide to the 2018 College Football Playoff National Championship but was also sidelined by multiple injuries while in college. He’s coming off a devastating hip injury that limited him to just 9 games in his final season at Alabama.
Despite the injuries the Hawaii native threw 87 touchdown passes and just 11 interceptions in his three seasons of college football.
Former University of Florida star CJ Henderson will be staying in state for his NFL career. The Gators defensive back was drafted ninth overall by the Jacksonville Jaguars.
This is the third consecutive year the Jaguars have drafted a player out of Florida. They took Jawaan Taylor in the second round last year and Taven Bryan in the first round of the 2018 draft.
