ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- Duke hammered UCF 30-13 in Wednesday’s Military Bowl at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis, Maryland.
The Knights (9-5) end their season with three losses in their final four games.
John Rhys Plumlee was sacked a Military Bowl record six times and finished with 203 total yards and one interception in the loss.
Duke (9-4) is now 7-0 this season when scoring first. Jaquez Moore scored the opening touchdown and the Blue Devils opened up a 23-7 lead entering the fourth quarter. Isaiah Bowser scored his second rushing touchdown of the game in the fourth quarter to cut the lead to 23-13.
Bowser rushed for 16 touchdowns this season, passing Latavius Murray for 2nd-most on UCF’s single-season list.
Duke sealed the win late in the fourth quarter with Riley Leonard’s 33rd touchdown of the season.
