COCOA, Fla. — The Cocoa Police department is investigating a woman’s shooting death Tuesday evening as a homicide.
Police responded to the 1000 block of N. Fiske Blvd. after receiving multiple 911 calls from witnesses in the area reporting a shooting.

Officers arrived on scene to find a female victim with multiple gunshot wounds.
She was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
Police say they’re not yet identifying the victim to “protect the integrity of the investigation.”

Investigators are currently interviewing witnesses, but they’re asking anyone with information about the case to call Central Florida CRIMELINE at 1-800-423-8477.
Callers who provide information leading to an arrest could be eligible for a reward of up to $5,000.
