The “Jungle Cruise” star hosted a special fan screening of his new film, “Red Notice,” on Wednesday, and his plan had been to gift the Porsche Taycan he drives in the movie to a deserving member of the audience, “Good Morning America” reported.

Unfortunately, Porsche declined to participate, so Johnson instead donated his own personal custom truck and surprised Oscar Rodriguez, a U.S. Navy veteran who is active in community causes and cares for his 75-year-old mother, with the vehicle, during the special event, KABC reported.

According to the TV station, Rodriguez collapsed in “grateful tears” as he received the gift, and Johnson wrote the following on Instagram about his selection process:

“I gathered as much information as I could about everyone in the audience and ultimately, Oscar’s story moved me. Takes care of his 75 year old mom. Personal trainer. Leader at his church. Provides support and meals for women victimized by domestic violence. Proud & humble Navy veteran. Kind human being,” Johnson wrote.

Meanwhile, Rodriguez had a few thoughts of his own to share via Instagram:

“Hugging @therock is worth a thousand trucks! I could have gone home content and satisfied knowing I got a BEAR HUG from Dwayne Johnson, A Living Legend,” he wrote in another post. “Cheers to you brother,” Rodriguez added.
