The Friday morning crash involved the Carnival Glory and the Carnival Legend, CNN reported.
Company officials said they are taking a look at the damage but said the incident did not “impact the seaworthiness of either ship,” CNN reported.
Officials did not call it a collision, but rather an allision, or when a moving ship hits a stationary ship. The Glory was in the process of docking. The Legend was already at the pier.
One guest had minor injuries that happened as passengers were being evacuated from the deck 3 and 4 dining room, NBC News reported.

Neither ship’s itinerary was affected as of Friday afternoon, with officials telling guests to enjoy the day on shore in Cozumel.
Passengers said a shipboard announcement said that currents and high winds were to blame, CNN reported.
