Walmart is the latest retailer to kick off its holiday shopping promotions.
The company announced that members of its subscription service Walmart+ will be able to cash in first on its Black Friday deals. Members will be able to start shopping the sales online four hours earlier than regular nonmembers when sales begin next month, CNBC reported.
The news outlet said Walmart hopes to increase the number of Walmart+ subscribers by offering sales earlier to them as potential product shortages loom due to supply chain issues.
Membership costs $98 a year or $12.95 monthly. Walmart+ also has fuel discounts and free grocery delivery for orders $35 and over, CNBC reported.
Keep in mind, those who are on a free trial of Walmart+ do not qualify for the earlier shopping window, USA Today reported.
The company will be kicking off “Black Friday Deals for Days” for the entire month of November, instead of only focusing on Black Friday or the day after Thanksgiving , USA Today reported.
