The woman who is accused of causing a massive crash of bicyclists during the Tour de France this weekend has been arrested.
The woman, whose name has not been released, is a 30-year-old from France. She’s in custody in Landerneau, Brittany in northwest France, Reuters reported.
She’s accused of involuntarily causing injury and putting the lives of others at risk after she held a sign into the lane where bicyclists were racing. German cyclist Tony Martin fell when he rode directly into the cardboard message midway through the race, Reuters reported.

Dozens of other riders were also brought down when Martin fell, The Associated Press reported. German racer Jasha Sutterlin had to leave the race after the crash.
There were still 47 kilometers, or about 29 miles, left to go for the stage when the crash happened Saturday, Reuters reported.
Tour de France organizers said that they would pursue legal action against the woman, the AP reported.
