Get your March full moon bliss on! 🌕✨ I jumped out of bed at dawn to enjoy this special time. Watching the full moon setting over the Georgia Straight and filling my tank with peace and unfiltered bliss. Thank you nature for the reset and for always reminding me what’s important. Thanks to @vancity for featuring this photo in their favourite super moon shots. I Ventured out tonight to capture the Supermoon in line with the Washington DC monuments. It was cloudy, but when the moon poked through, and when it did, the hundred or so photographers on the hill waiting for the shot went dead silent. So much for originality. Still fun though. First attempt at using a Nikon 300mm F2.8 lens mounted onto the Hasselblad X1Dii. It is quite sharp. But, it vignets sharply on the corners, even when stopped down. I guess that is to be expected using a 35mm lens on a medium format camera. I found myself doing panos to eliminate the problem. #hasselblad #hasselbladx1d #hasselbladx1dii #reallyrightstuff tripod and ball head. #nikon300mm28 lens. #supermoon #wormmoon #superwormmoon #dcmonuments #washingtoncapitol #washingtondc #washingtonmonument #lincolnmemorial #nightphotography #nightshot #nightscape #nightscapes #cityscapes
