FAYETTE COUNTY, Pa. — In the age of electronic toys, some kids — and even parents — may love the relative silence a simple wooden toy can provide.
A 95-year-old man in Pennsylvania has been spending the year giving Santa a hand by cutting, sanding and assembling hundreds of classic wooden toys.
Ed Higinbotham has built 300 toys this year and he gave them to Pennsylvania State Police so they can be given to children, WPXI reported.

State Trooper Forrest Allison shared a photo of this year’s toy pickup on Twitter.
At 95 Ed’s still at it! We just picked up 300 wooden toys for all to enjoy. Ed reminds us of the true definition of kindness. Thank You Ed. pic.twitter.com/1R9lGCLqIn
