The night sky will be putting on a show this weekend.
It’s time for this month’s full moon, most commonly called the Snow Moon.
The peak of the moon will happen Sunday at 1:28 p.m. ET, according to Space.com. It will rise at 5:10 p.m., just after it reaches its fullness. You will also be able to see Jupiter, Mars and Venus Sunday evening. If you’re up early you’ll be able to see Mercury around 5:48 a.m. on Feb. 6.
It got its name because of February’s tendency to have a lot of snow, almanac.com reported. It is the snowiest month according to the National Weather Service.
