DEERFIELD, Ill. — Walgreens is recalling a popular baby rattle set, citing choking hazards.
The Deerfield, Illinois-based pharmacy chain issued the recall Wednesday affecting 54,000 Disney Winnie the Pooh rattle sets because the character’s feet can detach, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.
The sets, sold at Walgreens stores nationwide from September 2019 through January 2020 for about $10 each, include three rattles and are marked for ages 3 months and older.
Although the company has confirmed eight reports of detaching feet, no injuries have been reported, the recall notice stated.
Consumers who purchased the rattles are advised to immediately take them away from young children and contact Walgreens for a full refund. The company can be reached by phone at 800-925-4733 or by clicking here.
