The automobile giant’s recalls, which are expected to begin Dec. 14, affect vehicles in the United States and Canada, according to The Associated Press.

The recall includes certain versions of 2018 through 2020 Chevrolet Equinox and Traverse models, along with the GMC Terrain, the AP reported. Other models include the 2018 Chevrolet Malibu and 2018 and 2019 Chevrolet Cruze and Buick LaCrosse. Buick Encores and Enclaves from 2019 and 2020, the Cadillac XT4, GMC Acadia and Chevrolet Blazer are also affected, along with the 2020 Cadillac XT6.

According to government documents posted last weekend, two bolts may be missing from the vehicles' stop-start mechanism, the AP reported. The missing bolts allow the transmission fluid to leak.

GM said it has not received any reports of injuries, fires or crashes, according to the AP.
