Christmas came a little early for one Ohio boy who definitely knows the people in his neighborhood, even the ones who only deliver packages.
Coledo Wheeler explained in a Facebook post on Sunday that she returned home from work to find that a surprise had been delivered – and installed – for her son, Eli.
I'm really not sure where to begin. Dan and I came home from working. I didn't even see a new basketball hoop for Elijah...

Wheeler said in the post that she saw the new basketball, instruction manual for a new hoop and two notes before she even noticed her son’s dilapidated hoop had been replaced.
“Just wanted you and your son to have the best hoop that will grow with him and all his friends. It’s wonderful that you shoot hoops with him,” one of the notes read, WLWT reported.
According to Wheeler’s post, the gifts were courtesy of the neighborhood’s friendly FedEx driver, identified only as Aubrey, who delivered on their street, often when Eli and his friends were playing basketball or when he would mow the lawn.
“She saw Eli cutting the grass one day. Told us it was awesome to start them young,” Wheeler wrote in the post, noting she and Eli both cried when they realized the source of the random act of kindness.
