Starbucks says it will be bringing back its popular Pumpkin Spice Latte drink, though they have not officially said when customers can get the drink from one of the company’s 15,000 American locations.
The coffee store chain announced that for the 17th year that the fall-themed coffee drink would be in stores, but did not say when, though one of the chain locations may have leaked the date in an Instagram post that has since been taken down.
The Instagram account for a Starbucks located in Madera, California, posted a photo of Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Flavored Sauce with the caption: “Who is excited for the Pumpkin Spice launch!! Coming August 28th!! Mark your calendars!!”
Starbucks responded to a question from Food & Wine magazine about when the drink would be in stores by saying, “Upon its return, the PSL will be available for fall fans all season long, and we’ll be sure to let you know when we have more details to share.”
Last year, the drink returned to stores for its fall run on Aug. 27.
The COVID-19 pandemic caused the company to temporarily close many of its locations. Starbucks announced in June that it will keep closed up to 400 company-owned locations over the next 18 months.
