WOODSTOCK, Ontario — You’d think if you drive a Porsche, and you are getting a hot tub, transporting it properly wouldn’t be a problem.
But law enforcement in Woodstock, Ontario, Canada, came upon an unusual sight -- the luxury vehicle towing the hot tub behind it on a makeshift cart.
Constables reminded drivers that they are responsible for making sure it is safe to tow their load.
“Had this hot tub become unattached from the homemade trailer that it was towed on, (it) would have caused serious damage and injury to anyone in its path,” Const. Marco D’Annibale said, according to CTV News.
The driver, who was identified as a 54-year-old man, was charged with careless driving, Global News reported.
