WINTER HAVEN, Fla. — Police in Florida are looking for a woman who had a tantrum in a Walmart after she was caught trying to walk out with items she hadn’t paid for.
The Winter Haven Police Department posted surveillance video on Facebook of the incident inside the Walmart on Feb. 2. Police said the woman filled up a cart with toys, groceries and fake flowers, before going to self-checkout, not paying and then trying to walk out the doors.
Once the woman was stopped, police said she began to argue. She claimed, “Get the manager Kim. I have an employee discount and I get my groceries for free,” WTVT reported. Police said there is no manager named Kim at the store.
Video then shows the woman grab a doll out of her cart and walk away. But when an employee asked her to return to pay for the doll, the woman threw the box at the employee, hitting the employee and cutting her lip, WFLA reported.
Police said the woman was described as having green hands and hair, likely from a recent hair dye treatment.
Anyone who recognizes the woman is asked to call police.
