PHILADELPHIA — Two men were shot and killed during their apparent attempt to break into a Pennsylvania home, authorities said.
According to WCAU-TV and KYW-TV, the incident occurred about 1:30 p.m. Monday on South 10th Street in Philadelphia. Philadelphia police said the would-be intruders knocked the door down, prompting two other men inside to begin shooting at the suspects, WCAU reported.
Police arrived to find the suspects – a 33-year-old and a man in his late 20s – unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds, according to the news outlets. The men were taken to a nearby hospital, where they died, police said.
Police said the men who shot the suspects have been cooperating with law enforcement, KYW reported. Authorities have not arrested anyone in connection with the incident, according to WCAU.
