Oscars 2022: See the complete winners list

LOS ANGELES — The star-studded 94th Academy Awards returned to the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday night.

Hosts Wanda Sykes, Amy Schumer and Regina Hall kept the mood light throughout the three-hour telecast, but there was a slight bit of excitement when actors Will Smith and Chris Rock shared a heated moment.

Although eight awards – including documentary short, film editing, makeup/hairstyling, original score, production design, animated short, live-action short and sound – were bestowed during a pre-taped segment, the night belonged largely to “CODA.”

Netflix’s “The Power of the Dog” led the 2022 Oscar nominations with 12 nods, followed by Denis Villeneuve’s “Dune” with 10, as well as Kenneth Branagh’s “Belfast” and Steven Spielberg’s “West Side Story” remake with seven nods each.
