“We are overwhelmed with gratitude for your support,” the pair captioned an Instagram video Thursday. “Two weeks ago, we asked you to join us, and more than 65,000 of you stepped up and donated what you could. Now, with your help we have reached our $30 million goal.”

The post continued: “While this is far from a solution for the problem, our collective effort will provide a softer landing for so many people as they forge ahead into their future of uncertainty. Our work is not done. We will do everything we can to ensure that the outpouring of love that came as a part of this campaign finds maximum impact with those in need.”

By Friday evening, the campaign had received 68,300 donations totaling nearly $34.5 million, according to the GoFundMe page.

When Kunis and Kutcher first unveiled the fundraiser March 3, they vowed to match as much as $3 million in donations to the campaign, People and CNN previously reported. At the time, Kunis wrote on the GoFundMe page that Flexport.org “is organizing shipments of relief supplies to refugee sites in Poland, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia and Moldova,” while Airbnb.org “is providing free, short-term housing to refugees fleeing Ukraine.”
