Keke Palmer hosts inauguration for kids

The inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris is like no other, with the first Black woman being sworn in to become the second most powerful person in our country.

It is something that our children may want to watch, so thanks to incoming first lady Dr. Jill Biden and actress Keke Palmer, an inauguration geared to kids is being held, ABC News reported.

In the announcement, Biden said, “inaugurations are one of the most important American traditions,” the “Today” show reported.

Historians Doris Keans Goodwin and Erica Armstrong Dunbar will accompany excerpts from PBS NewsHour Student Reporting Labs’ “We the Young People” programming.

There will also be a segment from Nickelodeon, “Today” reported.
