LAKE CHARLES, La. — Hurricane Laura made landfall Thursday morning carving a path of destruction along the Gulf Coast.
Video shows the moment the Category 4 storm made landfall, destroying a skyscraper and ripping the roof off a casino in Louisiana.
"The whole building is going apart," storm chaser Aaron Rigsby said while shooting the video, KMOV reported. "The whole skyscraper, completely shredded."

Another video shows the roof flying off the Golden Nugget casino, WKRG reported.
Hurricane Laura made landfall around 2 a.m. bringing with her 150 mph maximum sustained winds.
At least one person was killed because of the storm.
