Don’t be surprised if your grocery bill increases in the near future.
Kimberly-Clark, the maker of many paper products, announced Wednesday that it will be increasing prices on some of its products.
The price hike will affect the cost of Huggies diapers, Pull-Ups and Scott toilet paper lines.
Kimberly-Clark also produces Kleenex and Kotex brands, USA Today reported.
The reason is “to help offset significant commodity cost inflation,” the company said in a statement.
No exact increase amount was released, but the company said: “the percentage increases are in the mid-to-high single digits.”
Consumers will see the higher prices in late June.
Industry experts expect that Kimberly-Clark’s competitors will follow suit, Bloomberg reported.
