The White House Easter Egg Roll will return on April 18 and the ticket lottery is open now, The Hill reported.

If you want a chance to attend, you can submit an application through recreation.gov. Households can apply for up to six tickets and at least one of them must be an adult ticket with a maximum of two adults. There also is a minimum of one child’s ticket, WJLA reported.

You can also sign up for multiple time slots to increase your chances.

The lottery will close on March 31 at 10 a.m. with the results released on April 7. Winners will be contacted by email that day.

The last White House Easter Egg Roll was held in 2019 with 2020′s event canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

It was also canceled last year but Michael LaRosa, a spokesperson for first lady Jill Biden, said she had hoped to bring it back for 2022, The Hill reported.

The first White House Egg Roll was held more than 140 years ago during President Rutherford B. Hayes’ administration, according to the White House Historical Association. Thousands of families are able to visit the grounds of the White House during the event.

In addition to the egg roll, the White House Spring Garden Tours are being held on April 9 and 10, Matt Hill, the senior associate communications director of the White House, announced on Twitter.
