Amazon has announced it is looking to hire 150,000 workers for the holiday season.
The jobs will be full-time, part-time and seasonal positions at the company’s warehouses, The Associated Press reported.
The number of new hires is the same as had been projected for 2021.
The company will pay an average of $19 an hour, depending on the position and location of the job.

Last week, Amazon announced it would start paying $19, up a dollar from $18, for frontline workers, as well as changing the pay day schedule so there were more than one or two paychecks a month, the AP reported.
The company is also offering sign-on bonuses between $1,000 and $3,000 depending on where the job is located, CNBC reported.
Last month, Amazon announced it was holding a holiday version of its popular Prime Day promotion called Prime Early Access Sale that starts on Oct. 11, Reuters reported.
Amazon competitors Target and Walmart are also holding similar early holiday sales in October, CNN reported.
