AUGUSTA, Ga. — A Georgia woman is accused of purposely crashing her vehicle into a fast-food restaurant when her order did not include biscuits, authorities said.
Belinda H. Miller, 50, of Augusta, was arrested Wednesday and charged with felony aggravated assault and criminal damage to property in the first degree, according to Richmond County Sheriff’s Office online booking records.
According to authorities, Miller allegedly rammed her vehicle into a Popeyes restaurant in Augusta, The Augusta Chronicle reported. At about 7:45 p.m. EST on Feb. 18, sheriff’s deputies were called to the chicken restaurant over an accident with injuries.
The manager at Popeyes told deputies that Miller drove her SUV into the east entrance of the restaurant after she became upset because her order did not have any biscuits, the Chronicle reported, citing an incident report.
The manager told police that before the crash, the mistake was corrected and Miller was given her biscuits, WJBF-TV reported. However, the manager said that Miller was still unhappy.
