ANAHEIM, Calif. — A huge fire broke out near the Tom Sawyer Island attraction at Disneyland in Anaheim, California, on Saturday night.
The fire broke out during the “Fantasmic!” nighttime water and fireworks show at the Rivers of America, according to KTLA.
The show was cut off after the fire broke out, KABC reported. The show uses fire and water effects to tell the story of Mickey Mouse as the Sorcerer’s Apprentice.
Videos showed the dragon in flames and led cast members to evacuate from the Tom Sawyer Island, Reuters reported.

“During the final showing of Fantasmic at Disneyland Park on Saturday evening, the dragon caught fire. Anaheim Fire & Rescue quickly responded and the fire was extinguished. All cast members were evacuated from Tom Sawyer Island. Due to smoke and wind, attractions near the island were safely cleared of any guests, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation at this time,” Disneyland said.
The Anaheim Fire Department told KABC that there were no injuries reported from the fire.
