Santa’s will have his nine tiny reindeer, don’t forget Rudolph, to pull his sleigh after the team got its final flight checkup.
The herd’s Certificate of Veterinary Inspection issued by the North Pole was filed with the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture, WPMT reported.
“Not everyone knows what takes place behind the scenes to allow Santa and his nine reindeer to take flight on Christmas Eve,” Agriculture Secretary Russell Redding told WHP.
The team also got a final checkup by State Veterinarian Dr. Kevin Brightbill during a visit with Santa at Hersheypark.
“According to their certificates, despite one’s glaringly red nose and their magical ability to fly, word is they’re in extraordinary health,” Brightbill told WHP.
