TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — All state-run coronavirus test sites in Florida will be closed beginning at 5 p.m. Thursday through Monday because of a large storm system continuing to gain speed in the Atlantic.
Tropical Cyclone Nine which is projected to become tropical storm Isaias later this week, is expected to bring heavy rainfall and strong winds this weekend.

In preparation, the Florida Department of Emergency Management will close all test sites at the end of business Thursday.
The sites will remain closed until they are safe to reopen, with all sites anticipated to be reopened at the latest by 8 a.m., Wednesday, the agency said in a statement.
“We expect most sites can reopen Wednesday, pending any damage and vendor timelines,” officials said.
