CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A Southern food chain known for its chicken and biscuits is offering customers a deal worth clucking about.
Beginning today until supplies run out, Bojangles will include a $10 gas gift card with every purchase of a family meal, the company said in a news release. All 12- or 20-piece family meals that are purchased in-store, at the drive-thru or by using the Bojangles app to order ahead are eligible. Delivery orders are not eligible for the promotion.
“This is the first time in Bojangles’ history that we’ve ever given away $1 million, but we know our customers are worth it, and we’re just glad that we could come together with all of our franchisees to support them,” said Jackie Woodward, Bojangles Chief Brand and Marketing Officer.
While known primarily as a Southern chain, there are Bojangles locations in 14 states.
As of Monday, the national average gas price was $4.19 per gallon, according to the American Automobile Association.
