NOLA.com reported that Brandy Wilson’s body was found near the Domino Sugar refinery at Chalmette in St. Bernard Parish east of New Orleans, according to her father, Allen Berry.

Harbor Police spokesperson Renee Aragon Dolese said authorities retrieved the body just after 5:30 p.m. CDT Thursday, according to the website.

Wilson was found several days after the body of 15-year-old Kevin Poole was recovered near Crescent Park in New Orleans, WWL-TV reported. Poole and Brandy Wilson’s younger sister, Ally Berry-Wilson, 8, were reported missing after they fell into the Mississippi River on April 23, according to the television station.

Poole’s body was found Monday after a nine-day search along 93 miles of the river, NOLA.com reported. Ally Berry-Wilson is still missing, the website reported.

“Please come with good spirit and good intention, and help me bring my last baby home,” Allen Berry told reporters.

The U.S. Coast Guard suspended its search after two days, but private groups and some local law enforcement agencies continued looking for the youths, WWL reported.

The family believes that Brandy Wilson slipped on a piling and fell in the river and that Ally Berry-Wilson and Poole went in after her.

Allen Berry said the youths were reported as entering the river sometime around 7:15 p.m. CDT on April 23, near the Crescent City Connection bridge, the Coast Guard said in a news release. The span connects the east and west banks of New Orleans.

According to Allen Berry, Brandy Wilson slipped off a piling near Lamarque Street.
