Amazon said in a news release that starting Thursday, Amazon Fashion customers can use their phones and launch its new augmented reality feature, which will allow customers to check out a pair of shoes they may be interested in buying, on their feet before they do so. Amazon said that customers can move their feet to see different angles, swap colors, and much more.

“Amazon Fashion’s goal is to create innovative experiences that make shopping for fashion online easier and more delightful for customers,” said Muge Erdirik Dogan, president of Amazon Fashion. “We’re excited to introduce Virtual Try-On for Shoes, so customers can try on thousands of styles from brands they know and love at their convenience, wherever they are. We look forward to listening and learning from customer feedback as we continue to enhance the experience and expand to more brands and styles.”

CNBC said the new “Virtual Try-On” feature will make the online shopping experience easier and more interactive for customers. It’s available for Apple phone users in the United States. It features thousands of styles and brands, including New Balance, Adidas, Rebook, and Puma.

All customers have to do is aim the phone at their feet and a pair of shoes will appear, says CNBC. However, it won’t help them figure out what size they should buy, just what the shoes will look like.
