LAS VEGAS — Aerosmith announced Tuesday that Steven Tyler voluntarily checked himself into rehab following a relapse post-foot surgery and will have to cancel part of their Las Vegas residency for June and July.
Aerosmith announced on Facebook that Tyler has chosen to check into rehab to work on his health and recovery. They say he has been working on his sobriety for a while but after having foot surgery and dealing with the pain management process, Tyler relapsed.
“We are truly sorry to inform our fans and friends that we must cancel our first set of Las Vegas Residency dates this June and July while he focuses on his well-being,” said Aerosmith.
KSNV says that Aerosmith does plan to continue their 2022 tour dates starting in September. The band will provide details as soon as they can so fans can plan accordingly.
Aerosmith says that if you bought tickets through Ticketmaster, you will be refunded and you will receive an email with details on how to do so. If you bought tickets another way, reach out to your vendor for refund details.
