MURRELLS INLET, S.C. — In Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, crosswalks aren't just for human pedestrians.
According to WMBF-TV, photographer Austin Bond spotted a gator using a crosswalk on a road at Huntington Beach State Park early Monday. He captured video of the law-abiding reptile and shared the clip on Facebook, where it quickly went viral.
"It's amazing how often the alligators use the crosswalks when crossing," Bond captioned the video, which has been viewed more than 36,000 times.
