The 39-year-old rapper was admitted to the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center on Nov. 21 after he started to behave "erratically" while at his trainer's home, Us Weekly reported.
While some have said that West, 39, was hospitalized for exhaustion, others have said that he had a nervous breakdown and has suffered from paranoia since he was admitted to the hospital.
In a recording of a Fire Department dispatch call obtained by TMZ, the matter was referred to as a "psychiatric emergency."
Unnamed sources told Us Weekly that Kardashian, 36, has been sleeping beside West at the hospital and helping feed him.
"Kim has been amazing," the source told Us Weekly. "She knew he couldn't keep going the way he was. She has been by his side through all of this, helping to feed him and lying by his side."
The source said Kardashian spent Thanksgiving in the hospital with West.
"Kim wouldn't leave his side except to see the kids," the source told the tabloid. "She's been at the hospital all the time. Kim has been keeping a very close watch on him and not letting people disturb him. All kinds of people have called and sent flowers, but she's being very careful about not letting him get wound up and making sure he rests and recovers."
An unidentified source told TMZ that Kardashian has been "an unbelievably devoted spouse."
According to TMZ, West was set to leave the hospital Monday with plans to receive care from a personal doctor, but the release date has been pushed back.
West abruptly canceled all remaining shows of his "Saint Pablo" tour last Monday, hours before his hospitalization. He cut a concert short two days earlier in Sacramento, where he ranted about Beyonce, Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. The tour was set to include shows through Dec. 31.
Celebrities have been outspoken about supporting West during his hospitalization.
