CRAWFORD COUNTY, Pa. — Authorities have apprehended a man wanted after his stepmother and his 10-year-old half-brother were found slain in Pennsylvania.
Update 2:05 p.m. EDT Aug. 14: Jack Turner, 21, was apprehended in Charleston, West Virginia, on suspicion of an unrelated robbery, WPXI reported.
He was previously identified as a person of interest in the deaths of his stepmother, 49-year-old Shannon Whitman, and her 10-year-old son. The two were found dead Saturday night of apparent gunshot wounds at a home in Crawford County, PennLive.com reported.
Turner was spotted Tuesday in Florida. He left the state on a bus headed for Pennsylvania, according to WOKV. The news station reported officials with the U.S. Marshals Service arrested Turner while he was changing buses in West Virginia.

He was apprehended Wednesday in Charleston, West Virginia, WJAX-TV reported.
Original report: A "person of interest" in a Pennsylvania double homicide case has been spotted in Florida, authorities said.
According to WPXI-TV, police said they are looking for Jack Turner, 21, in connection with the slayings of his stepmother and 10-year-old half-brother.
Shannon Whitman and the boy were found by a family member shot to death inside a Crawford County home, authorities said.
Police said a large manhunt ensued, including areas in nearby Mercer County. Word quickly spread of Turner being on the run, and police said he had stolen Whitman's car. Police said Turner was seen robbing a gas station in Erie just hours after the deaths.
Turner is described as 5 feet, 11 inches tall, with dark brown eyes and a tattoo on his right hand.
Florida's St. Johns County Sheriff's Office reported that there were three confirmed sightings of Turner in the St. Augustine area Tuesday. They warned people nearby that he is considered armed and dangerous.
